Powergrid Recruitment 2025, Apply Online for 1543 Field Engineer and Supervisor Posts

POWERGRID Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, has released its official notification for the recruitment of 1543 Field Engineers and Field Supervisors.

The recruitment will be conducted on a contract basis and offers a great opportunity for engineering graduates and diploma holders to build their careers with one of the largest power transmission companies in the world.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 17-09-2025)

• Maximum Age: 29 years
• Relaxation in upper age limit as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification

• Field Engineer: Full-time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical/Civil discipline or equivalent with minimum 55% marks.
• Field Supervisor: Full-time Diploma in Electrical/Civil/Electronics & Communication or equivalent with minimum 55% marks.

Salary and Benefits

For Field Engineer

• Pay Scale: ₹30,000 – 3% – ₹1,20,000
• Initial Basic Pay: ₹30,000
• Allowances: Industrial DA + HRA + Perks (35% of Basic Pay)
• Approximate Annual CTC: ₹8.9 Lakhs

For Field Supervisor

• Pay Scale: ₹23,000 – 3% – ₹1,05,000
• Initial Basic Pay: ₹23,000
• Allowances: Industrial DA + HRA + Perks (35% of Basic Pay)
• Approximate Annual CTC: ₹6.8 Lakhs

Selection Process

The selection will be based on:

1. Written Test (Common FTE Written Exam 2025) – To be conducted online.
2. Document Verification – Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of eligibility.
3. Medical Examination – Final selection subject to fitness as per POWERGRID norms.
